How we check listings
During the early preview, listings come straight from Unstop and official programme pages using the rules below, and the human check described here has not happened yet. Each listing says “Not yet checked by us” until it has.
What gets listed
A competition appears here only if all of these are true:
- A founder opportunity: a grant, pitch competition, startup or innovation challenge, incubator or accelerator
- ₹50,000 or more in cash, or real support — a grant, funding, incubation or an accelerator place
- Not a coding hackathon
- Applications are open (a future deadline, or rolling)
Programmes that invest in exchange for equity are listed but labelled “takes equity — not free capital”.
What a person checks
We find candidates automatically from Unstop and from official programme pages, but nothing is published until someone on our team has opened the source and confirmed the deadline, the amount, who can apply and what the programme gives. The “Checked” date on each listing is when that last happened.
If a listing has not been re-checked in 14 days, it says so. When a deadline passes, the listing disappears on its own — we never show a closed competition as open.
What we don't do
- We don't accept payment to list a competition or to rank it higher.
- We don't invent urgency — no countdown timers or “filling fast” claims.
- We don't add up vouchers, credits or goodies into a “worth” figure. Cash is cash; investment is labelled as investment.
Organisers can change details at any time. Always confirm on the source before you apply.
